Irving S. Bails Pathway Fund
Provides support of Synagogue-wide initiatives.



Building Maintenance Fund
The repair and replacement of equipment and furnishings.


Sisterhood’s Ethel Burke Sukkot Fund
Provides funds for the decoration and beautification of our Sukkah each Fall.


Capital Campaign Fund
Provides funds for the religious school expansion and Alex & Leona Robinson Pavilion renovation.


Cemetery Fund
Perpetual care of our two cemetery properties.


Congregation Fund
A general fund for the day-to-day operation of the synagogue.


Endowment Fund
Builds for the future of the congregation. Now more than 1.3 million, the endowment fund contributed almost $60,000 toward the operation of the synagogue last year.

Food For the Hungry Fund
Organized by the Social Action Committee, this fund contributes quarterly to the East End Cooperative Ministry food pantry and the Jewish needy through Jewish Family and Children’s Services.


Kiddush Fund
To subsidize the cost of the weekly Kiddush.


Yetta Levenson Esq. Education Fund
Provides funds for the confirmation class.


Men’s Club Fund
Provides funds for Men’s Club Sunday brunches and other worthwhile programs of the Men’s Club.


Morning Minyannaires' Fund
Receives donations from members' weekly dues, attendance at a morning service or sponsoring a breakfast each morning, to purchase items for the Synagogue or as a memorial for a member. Most of the fund is for an annual donation . to the TOL operating budget.


Music Fund
Provides funds for the organist and concerts, and new music for the congregation.

Passport to Israel Fund
Provides funds for teenage students to go to Israel. This fund is supported by matching funds from parents and UJF.


Philantrophic Fund
Provides discretionary funds for Jewish causes, people in need, civic and other charitable institutions.


Prayer Books Fund
Provides funds for the purchase of new and replacement siddurim, mahzorim and bibles.


Religious School Scholarship Fund
To assist families with the costs of Hebrew and Sunday School Registration.


Snow-Schachter Library Fund
Supports costs of acquiring new materials.


Special Temporary Funds
Receives funds in honor or in memory of dear ones. Temporary funds usually last 90-180 days. Monies from these funds are then rolled overinto permanent congregational funds after consultation with the families.

Dorothy & Milton Wasserman Fund for Children of Special Needs
Provides support for children and adults with special needs to participate in Synagogue prayer and activities.


Youth Scholarship Fund
Provides funds to subsidize trips to Israel or participation in Camp Ramah Summer Program.


Zittrain Garden Fund
Newly designated for the beautification and upkeep of the gardens.
